Barrington High School girls win IHSA Class 3A state title; board issues proclamation

The Barrington Village Board on Nov. 24, 2025 presented a proclamation commending the Barrington High School girls cross-country team for winning the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) Class 3A state championship at Detwiler Park in Peoria on Nov. 8, 2025.
Trustee Wandrasek read the proclamation, which listed team members, coaches and staff and noted the team finished first in the state with a low score of 144 points. The proclamation named head coach Deb Rivolta and assistant coaches Emily Moore and Dan Lowry and congratulated the student-athletes for their season.
Board members and attendees congratulated the team and paused for a group photo following the presentation.
