Commissioners approve 7 Oaks RV/Tiny Home plat and Sunrise Acres preliminary plat

Cooke County Commissioners approved two land-development items: a plat for 7 Oaks RV and Tiny Home Living in Precinct 1 and the preliminary plat for Sunrise Acres in Precinct 2.

On 7 Oaks, a commissioner described the project as "a mixture of RVs and tiny houses, and supposedly each lot will be fenced," and moved to approve the plat; the court approved the plat 4–0 with one member absent. Commissioners asked basic locational questions (behind the old one-stop) and confirmed utility and road access would be addressed before final filing.

For Sunrise Acres, commissioners said outstanding details remain for the project to return for final approval. The court voted to approve the preliminary plat, with further work required before a subsequent return to court.
