Manitowoc council passes slate of routine resolutions, agreements and program authorizations

Council also approved amendments and agreements including: an amendment to an access agreement with Wisconsin Public Service Corporation related to cleanup at the North 10th and Chicago Street site (8-76); a banking RFP authorization for staff to continue negotiations (8-98); a resolution adopting the 2025 tax levy tied to a 2026 budget amendment (8-97); and a one-year joint powers agreement with the Manitowoc County Joint Dispatch Center (8-70).
Personnel actions included eliminating vacant and unfunded positions as clean-up following recent budget work (8-77), adopting a labor agreement with Manitowoc Transit employees, Teamsters Local 662 (8-78), reclassifying a visitor services clerk position (8-88) and updating the employee policy manual (8-95).
Public infrastructure and planning motions approved routine authorizations for 2026 street improvements (8-89), dust palliative application (8-90), sidewalk construction and repair program (8-91), a facility use agreement with Manitowoc County ADRC Senior Nutrition Program (8-82), and plan commission recommendations on a TLG Homes subdivision concept and review of tax foreclosure properties (8-25 and 8-26).
The council moved and seconded each committee recommendation, and the transcript records unanimous approval for the listed items.
