Madeline Weisner, chair of the Midwifery Advisory Council and a licensed midwife, presented the MAC's recommended 2026 meeting dates and agenda items and asked the board to approve them.

Weisner said the MAC proposed January 22, April 16 and September 17, 2026 as meeting dates and listed anticipated agenda items including midwifery program updates, licensed midwife fund condition, legislative updates and a possible board presentation on midwifery history.

Dr. Tsai moved to approve the dates and agenda; Dr. Mahmood seconded. The board conducted a roll-call vote; all members present voted yes and the motion carried.

No further action or policy changes were taken at that time; staff will post meeting notices and agenda materials according to standard public-meeting procedures.
