The committee noted that the transfer requires a town-meeting vote; the School Committee recommendation asks the Select Board to include the article on the May warrant.
Calendar: After discussion about moving a professional-development day to coincide with the Nov. 3, 2026 election versus keeping the traditional Monday-after-Thanksgiving PD day, the committee agreed to set the 2026–27 school year start date.
