Resolution 50-25UD authorized gravity sewer mainlining on 28th and 29th Street by Hinterland Group Inc. for up to $358,185 from the USD wastewater system renewal and replacement project; staff said lining clay pipes can add about 30 years of life and reduce groundwater infiltration.
Resolution 48-25UD approved removal and disposal of lime sludge using Devlin Site Paving and Utilities Inc. for up to $300,000; staff said the expense covers annual hauling and disposal of dried lime byproduct from the softening units and that these costs are budgeted yearly.
