San Rafael Planning Commission adopts 2026 calendar, names Rodby chair and Summers vice chair

Staff recommended cancelling the Dec. 22 meeting and flagged a potential special meeting on Jan. 6 to accommodate state timeline triggers for several projects.
Following discussion, the commission took the annual election of officers. By motion and unanimous roll call vote, commissioners approved Commissioner Rodby as chair for 2026 and Commissioner Summers as vice chair.
Staff said the calendar will be circulated and that additional special meetings may be scheduled where required by state housing‑law deadlines. The commission closed its meeting for the year and adjourned.
