Committee members debated whether to press the item forward as previously announced to the commission. One member said they would not have voted for the original recommendation and argued the committee should stop pushing the proposal. After saying the commission had been told the item would move forward, the committee agreed it would instead document the withdrawal and notify the mayor about agenda planning.
The committee recorded the motion to withdraw the recommendation and asked staff (Roseanne, per the transcript) to document the action. The item will be taken up again at the committee’s January meeting when members expect additional information from the project sponsor.
