Beaumont officials reported a clean audit for fiscal year 2025. Independent auditors Rogers, Anderson, Mallody & Scott issued an unqualified opinion and found no material weaknesses or significant deficiencies in the city's internal controls.
Finance staff reported the city's assets increased to approximately $825.6 million (from $794.1 million the prior year), and net position rose to $624.5 million (from $587.3 million). The general fund recorded $72.8 million in revenues and $57.1 million in expenditures, resulting in a positive fund balance of $5.6 million. Revenues exceeded budget by roughly $10.6 million and expenditures came in about $7.5 million under budget.
The finance and audit committee reviewed the report and recommended the council receive and file the annual comprehensive financial report. Council accepted the report by vote.
