Roselle board approves meeting calendar, annexations, special use and multiple consent items

The board adopted a resolution setting the 2026 regular meeting schedule and amended it to repeat summer hours (meetings beginning at 6:30 p.m. from June through Labor Day). The consent agenda was approved and included an Americans with Disabilities Act transition plan, an intergovernmental agreement related to the O'Hare Noise Compatibility Commission, an agreement with RKM Fireworks Incorporated, acceptance of Bloomingdale Township Mental Health Board grant funds for behavioral health support, and an agreement with Municipal GIS Partners Inc.
On land use, the board opened and closed a public hearing on the annexation petition for 22 W 281 Foster Avenue and then passed ordinances authorizing an annexation agreement and approving annexation of that territory. The board also passed an ordinance granting a special use for the property at 17 East Irving Park Road in Roselle. All motions in this series were seconded and recorded as carrying by roll call (transcript records "Aye" votes and "That motion carries").
The board’s approval of these measures authorizes staff to implement scheduled actions and move forward with the projects cited; no litigation or contested votes were recorded during these items.
