Board members reported a successful bond-refunding auction that drew broad underwriter interest and produced stronger-than-expected results. "We had 16 underwriters join the auction...we had a very, very good auction," an administrator said, and estimated the district’s savings would rise from an earlier projection of $1.3 million to roughly $1.9 million once the transaction closes.
The board subsequently approved routine consent items. A motion to discuss and approve G1–G4 passed on roll call with all members voting yes. Business items B1–B7 and personnel items P1–P11 were similarly approved on roll calls; Miss Stevenson recorded an abstention on P11. Trustees also noted an update to the district’s long-range facilities plan.
The meeting closed after additional routine reports and an adjournment motion passed unanimously.
