Marysville board honors Leadership Academy graduates and names employee of the month

The Marysville Exempted Village School District Board of Education honored the Leadership Academy class of 2025 and announced Michelle McGlone as Employee of the Month at its Dec. 11 meeting.
Dr. Howard introduced the Leadership Academy graduates and invited presenter Jonathan Langhaus to describe the program’s year-long work. Langhaus praised the cohort’s "capstone projects" that focus on building- and district-level improvements and encouraged graduates to "go lead." The board called graduates to receive certificates: Matthew Fox (instructional coach at Bunceil Middle School), Jennifer Lewis (EMIS coordinator for Marysville schools), Lindsey Mee (Marysville High School guidance counselor), Chance Nelson (English language arts instructor, Marysville Early College High School) and Brooke Young (mathematics teacher, Early College High School).
Dr. Howard also announced Michelle McGlone, a transportation department secretary, as Employee of the Month, saying colleagues nominated her for reliably resolving transportation problems "no matter the time of the day" and for "smoothing out the bumps in the road." The board said it would ensure McGlone receives a certificate.
