Ocean View trustees approve a slate of routine policies, contracts and agreements

Administrative Services items approved included a piggyback agreement to use a Kern County School District / PEPPM cooperative purchasing bid for technology procurement and a resolution (Resolution 102526) authorizing withdrawal from the Schools Excess Liability Fund (SELF) joint powers authority. The board also approved surplus of obsolete district property.
Educational services actions approved included an independent contractor agreement with Kicks to Learn for lunch and recess support at College View; a data-use agreement with Carilion Behavioral Health; approval of nonpublic agency placements for special education when required by IEPs; and acceptance of comprehensive school safety plans for 2025–26.
