Casey Williams was appointed to the Schofield Reservoir Special Service District for the Singleton subdivision seat. On the Tourism Tax Advisory Board, the commission appointed four members to two-year terms (Barbie Heck, Scottie Draper, Tim Riley and Lelice Peterman) and filled two one-year term vacancies with Tiffany Hanson and Joshua Patterson.
Mike Corianas was appointed to fill a vacancy on the Housing Authority of Carbon County. Planning and Zoning appointments moved Oren (Warren) Stainbrook from alternate to regular member, added Gary Taylor and Mackenzie Barnett as regular members, and named Jade Powell as an alternate.
Finally, the commission appointed Dr. Zach Kanakis and Debbie Pete to represent the county on the Southeastern Utah Board of Health.
These actions were approved by recorded motions and votes. The board encouraged continued applications for the remaining open seats.
