Alana Rico and audit team members told the board they found the financial statements materially accurate, reported no significant deficiencies or material weaknesses in internal controls, and proposed no adjustments to the statements.
CFO Dr. Eric Washington introduced the audit presentation and thanked auditors and staff. The auditors noted that Community Power adopted GASB standards 102–104 during the reporting period; auditors said that adoption did not materially affect the financial results. The board offered thanks to staff and auditors and treated the item as a receipt and file action; no public comment was received on the item.
The board did not take additional fiscal action at this meeting related to the audit; any audit follow‑up will be handled through regular staff reporting and internal controls processes.
