During final roll call the amended motion carried with four votes in favor and one opposed; commissioners adopted the item as amended. Mayor Angelo Castillo and staff said they would return with any required budget amendments if additional funding is needed to expand the study further.
Implementation notes: staff will proceed to scope the traffic‑calming study for the included districts and return to the commission if additional appropriations are required.
