District unveils data-driven facilities assessment and reports 1,082 SchoolMint applications in week one of open enrollment

Facilities staff described a six‑to‑nine month assessment process with PBK and engineers to inventory campus infrastructure (mechanical, electrical, roof and athletics), and the district said it will pilot Brightly Asset Essentials to feed Origin condition‑index planning. Timeline highlights included a pilot campus submission in January, submissions for additional campuses in February–March, and system aggregation in June–July to produce year‑by‑year condition and cost matrices for planning.
Enrollment and communications staff said the Discover CCISD campaign and new SchoolMint application platform generated 1,082 applications between Dec. 1 and Dec. 8. Of those, presenters said 89 were submitted by families who do not live in district boundaries, and 228 were in‑district applicants who are not current CCISD students. Staff said they are monitoring demographic dashboards and will provide further breakdowns on origins and program targets.
Trustees praised the use of data and asked for follow‑up on applicant origins and the impact on enrollment and budget planning. Facilities staff said the Brightly/Origin outputs will feed a decision matrix and long‑range cost estimates by mid‑2026.
