Millersville University announces death of student‑athlete; offers campus resources and lists events

Norman also reviewed a series of upcoming campus events and announcements: the FAFSA application window opened for 2026‑27; Millersville hosted an open house with more than 400 prospective students and families; the Millersville University Center for Health and Education and Promotion held a Purple Carnival on Oct. 23; and Mathemagics will be presented Nov. 6 at the Student Memorial Center. Norman asked the community to be aware of possible event‑related traffic on campus event dates.
Council offered condolences and did not take formal action on the university report. Norman’s remarks serve as public notification of campus supports and scheduled events.
