Residents press Opelika council on dilapidated homes and local moratorium affecting small businesses

Bradley Hadden of Top Shelf Alternatives (1805 Archer Court) urged the council to resolve uncertainty related to a moratorium that he said affects his business and others. Hadden said the city—s moratorium (referenced with a Dec. 15 deadline in the meeting) leaves proprietors in limbo and requested that the council remove or extend the moratorium so small businesses can plan for next year.
