The Andalusia City Council voted Dec. 2 to hold a quadrennium planning meeting Jan. 6, to outline priorities for 2025–2029.
During the meeting the Mayor (S1) described the purpose of the planning session, said the council would invite the public, and proposed a noon luncheon meeting in the Utility Boardroom followed by the regular evening workshop. An unidentified councilmember moved to hold the meeting on Jan. 6 at noon; the Mayor noted the motion was by 'Mister Powell' and that 'Mister Craig' seconded. The council approved the date by voice vote.
Earlier in the agenda the council also approved the minutes from the Nov. 18, 2025 meeting by voice vote. No further business was raised and the Mayor adjourned the meeting.
