Natural Resources Board approves minutes, hears public comment and adjourns

Early in the Dec. 2 meeting, an unidentified board member (S3) moved to approve the Nov. 4, 2025 meeting minutes; the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote. "I make a motion to approve the minutes of 11/04/2025," the mover said, and the motion was declared passed.
During public input, Ray Osborne introduced himself and asked whether Sebastian has a memorial tree program similar to Vero Beach's: "My name is Ray Osborne. I'm a citizen here and resident here in the city great city of, Sebastian." Staff replied that the city does not currently have a memorial-tree program but does maintain memorial brick and bench programs and could explore tree memorials in coordination with Parks & Recreation.
Before adjourning, the board confirmed next meeting date adjustments and recognized Deborah Shellenberger would be voting in place of Lauren Thompson for tonight's meeting. An unidentified board member moved to adjourn, a second was recorded, and the chair declared the meeting adjourned.
