Tyson, city staff presenting the trailer‑sales amendment, told the council the proposed change adds “trailer sales as one of the uses in the retail uses section of chapter 3 of the form‑based code.” The draft includes minimum development standards: a minimum lot size of 1.5 acres for the use, a permanent on‑site office, a 3‑foot minimum separation between displayed trailers along State Street, limits on stacking (no closer than 50 feet to a primary or secondary street), and a stacking height limit of 12 feet; trailer repair would not be permitted.
