KILLEEN, Texas — Following a closed executive session for the city manager’s annual evaluation, the City Council on Dec. 2 considered and approved a resolution confirming the evaluation and authorizing a 3% cost-of-living adjustment to the city manager’s pay.
Council discussed the item in closed session under the Texas Open Meetings Act personnel exception. After returning to open session, a councilmember moved to approve a 3% COLA for the city manager; the motion was seconded and passed by a recorded tally of 6–0.
