The Middleton Workforce Housing Committee met on Sept. 15 to review subcommittee work on a draft affordable housing plan, hear outside presentations and community-service updates, and set follow-up steps for staff and members.
Committee members said Daphne assembled a consolidated draft of the affordable housing plan and asked participants to send draft FAQ responses so the education-and-outreach group can produce a unified FAQ before the next meeting. One member requested that FAQ answers that are factual begin with a clear yes-or-no word followed by a brief explanation, to improve clarity for the public and council members.
Jeremy, reporting for the Strategy & Finance subcommittee, said the group compiled an initial draft in August and planned a 1.5–2 hour meeting the following day to finish reviewing and reorganizing the document. Scott was asked to update the shared Google Doc with edits collected in the meeting.
