Staff highlighted recommended city projects including two downtown activation projects tied to streetscape work, rotating murals at the northeast corner of K Avenue and 15th, and replacement of the monument sign at G Avenue and 15th as part of a welcome‑art project. The commission voted 5–0 in support of the recommendations.
If supported by council, staff said they would begin planning and implementing the city projects and make funding available to the recommended nonprofits.
