Lakeville adopts 2026 fee schedule and ordinance for development-related charges

Staff said the proposed changes were consistent with direction provided at an Oct. 27 work session and noted two minor adjustments since that session: park shelter rental fees were updated after a market comparison with nearby cities, and the late-payment utility charge was reduced to comply with statutory limits. The ordinance summary publication requires a four-fifths vote for summary adoption; council approved the ordinance and the related resolution adopting the fee schedule by roll call.
