Committee members debated the effective date and an amendment was proposed to change the termination from March 1 to April 1 to align more safely with session timing. The amendment was moved and seconded, called for a voice vote and carried. The assembled task force then took a roll-call vote on the amended 26 LSO 84; members present recorded "Aye" and the motion carried.
Chairman Larson said the remaining administrative work will move to the State Construction Department and the task force’s duties will shut down earlier than originally scheduled. The committee scheduled a site tour at the building and adjourned.
