During discussion of the treasurer’s report, Commissioner Williams asked why the county’s "hot checks" account showed no activity for the fiscal year. An unidentified speaker explained specific cases had been handled and that some matters had shifted from criminal to civil disposition; those items would be reflected in the accounting once processed. The judge suggested follow-up with Commissioner Law after the meeting for more detail.
