County approves $24,005.09 change order to fix code issues in Public Safety Building basement

Mr. Bradley moved to approve the change order and Mr. Wolfsey seconded. Randy Darnell of CCS told the committee that after removing the existing ceiling crews discovered multiple items that did not meet code, and the proposed ductwork upgrades correct those code issues. CCS's cost-control team reviewed the proposal and found it fair and consistent with industry standards. County staff supported proceeding.
The committee conducted a roll call; members present recorded their votes in support of the motion and the change order passed. Staff will implement the ductwork work as part of the PSV basement remodel.
