BZA receives training update; application at 2618 Albany Court withdrawn

During the Dec. 18, 2025 meeting, planning staff informed the Board of Zoning Appeals that the applicant for 2618 Albany Court submitted a withdrawal letter earlier that morning, removing that item from the agenda.
Staff also reviewed the board’s training requirements (4 hours per year for planning commission and BZA members) and announced an anticipated webinar in early 2025 on floodplain variances organized through the state floodplain association and the city’s NFIP coordinator. Staff said the webinar will be distributed to the board and that a recorded option may be made available for remote viewing.
There was no further business and the chair adjourned the meeting.
