City staffer Miss Brown described HPB25‑36 as a request from Keith and Tina Marie Andrews to add a black steel, wrought‑iron looking 4‑foot fence to the front of their property and said the design complements the district. Staff noted the house is modern (post‑war) per the Florida master site file and that the fence design coincides with existing railings at the entrance steps.
Board members opened public comment and closed it with no speakers. In discussion, members said the fence was appropriate and a motion to approve the fence as presented passed by voice vote.
The board did not take up exterior paint colors for the property during this item; staff and the chair clarified that painting guidance is a separate matter and the board’s recommendation on a city color palette would be addressed in another agenda item.
The approval permits the owners to install the fence; staff will follow up on any permit and installation requirements as part of the normal COA and building‑permit process.
