The board had originally committed funds in prior years; the four-year lapse required reauthorization and the additional funds addressed cost escalation.
A board motion to amend the purchase agreement and commit the additional funds passed unanimously on roll call. Board and applicant representatives noted the pump house is already completed and the system holds a certificate of operation; the additional funds will help finalize procurement and installation of remaining components.
