Parks board approves one-year Michiana Life Media partnership and Winterfest entertainment contracts

Jennifer Coby, the parks marketing specialist, told the board Michiana Life (operated by Great News Life) will promote parks events, share press releases and social-media posts, provide reports on stories and cover six events during the year. "They will give us reports on our stories," Coby said, adding the arrangement will start with a one-year term so the city can evaluate results.
Event coordinator Liz Stapnauer presented two entertainment MOUs for Winterfest: Wyatt Marshall (4–6 p.m. on the Central Green Stage) and Jake from Starheart (7–9 p.m. after the tree lighting). Board members approved both entertainment agreements and the Michiana Life MOU by unanimous vote.
What happens next: Parks staff will begin the media partnership, track engagement reports provided by Michiana Life, and finalize entertainment logistics for Winterfest this coming Saturday.
