Board conditionally approves transfer of Good Earth Natural Foods Company liquor license

Outgoing licensee Valerie Deptula described 26 years of operation without violations and said about 13 employees would transfer to the new business; incoming licensee Abigail Greenwell said she planned to keep staff and maintain a strict 100% ID-check policy, noting recent secret-shopper checks passed. The board made conditional approval pending the specified administrative documents that licensing staff must receive and verify.
Chair and board members voted unanimously to approve the conditional transfer. Licensing staff will not finalize issuance until required clearances are provided.
