During its Dec. 18 meeting the New Orleans City Council took votes to tabulate and accept official tallies from the Nov. 15, 2025 election for multiple propositions and local improvement-district measures.
Clerks read results for measures including the Broadmoor Neighborhood Improvement District (votes for 707, against 271, total 978), the Garden District security district call (for an election scheduled June 27, 2026), and a series of bond and proposition tabulations related to affordable housing, drainage, stormwater and city infrastructure projects. The clerk recorded totals and council adopted motions to tabulate and accept the results by recorded or voice votes as listed on the agenda.
Council members moved to approve tabulation motions in grouped items; most were adopted unanimously or by voice vote. These tabulations complete the council’s formal recognition of the election outcomes detailed in the clerk’s report.
