Probate judge approves first annual accounting for Roger Mason estate

The petition to allow the accounting was presented by Mister Schaeffer, who told the court the accounting had been submitted and “we believe that it's accurate and reflects all of Mr. Mason's assets and liabilities.” The judge noted that a guardian ad litem, identified in the record as mister McPhylen, filed a waiver on Dec. 17 and that no objections were before the court.
After reviewing the submission and the guardian ad litem's waiver, the judge found the accounting to be accurate for purposes of the hearing and signed an order approving it. The court offered no further questions and concluded the matter for the morning.
The approval permits the estate accounting to stand as filed; the judge gave no additional instructions about bond, distribution or further hearings at that time.
