Residents press council for a climate commission and more transparency on subcommittee meetings

Staff said it is preparing a subcommittee policy and that the council will discuss organization and resourcing at an upcoming retreat in the spring; staff acknowledged subcommittee minutes are not currently formalized and that adding regular minutes and improved calendaring will require staffing capacity. Council approved the subcommittee and interagency assignment list and directed staff to include transparency and resourcing discussions in the next planning retreat.
