The Chamber’s Coco Stroll — a downtown fundraiser in which participants buy a commemorative mug and sample hot cocoa at participating businesses — is slated to run about 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Stewart said. She also said the Elgin Education Foundation will display wreaths downtown and auction them to raise money that will support local schools (the transcript identifies the beneficiary as “Belvin ISD,” a name that could not be independently confirmed in the recording).
Stewart described additional vendor and activation elements planned for the day, including a “merry and bright pink bus” pop-up with a Kendra Scott vendor, chair massages and other community vendors; the interview transcription also records cosmetic services (transcribed as “Botox treatments”) among the offerings.
