The Kuna City Council authorized a request for qualifications (RFQ) to launch an update of the city's comprehensive plan.
Troy Beheunen identified the RFQ as the open solicitation for qualified consultants to manage the plan update process. Council members recalled the last comprehensive plan was approved in 2019 and Troy described the typical update timeline as about 18 months. "That's an 18 month process," he said.
Council moved, seconded and unanimously approved the RFQ release to solicit candidates to perform the comprehensive plan update.
What happens next: Staff will release the RFQ and evaluate submitted qualifications as the city begins a multi-stage planning process to update the comprehensive plan.
