During its Dec. 17 meeting, the Alamosa City Council voted to enter an executive session to discuss acquisition of real property for a building to house police support services.

Councilor Jan Vigil moved the motion to convene the executive session pursuant to CRS 24-6-402(4)(a) (the statute was cited in the motion). The motion was seconded and the council voted to proceed. Councilor Martinez announced a recusal and abstained, saying she is related to a member of the board of one of the buildings being considered.
