City Manager Horn and finance staff explained that the amended resolution corrects a typographical error in the TIFA fund figures and reflects year‑end projections. Staff noted adjustments across funds driven in part by storm cleanup costs, contracted services for parks and public works and the housing project fund established midyear for the Maple Block loan.
Councilmembers asked for details about specific line items. Staff said about $235,000 in public works and $564,400 in parks are linked to ice‑storm cleanup and that reimbursements will be only partial; the manager and finance staff described about $410,000 available for housing rehabilitation projects (plus up to $90,000 for administration) from a federal grant the city is administering and urged prompt use of funds where remediation (lead/asbestos) is not required.
The council moved and adopted the amended budget resolution with a roll call vote recorded as 5–0. The resolution corrected the presentation error in the TIFA fund while leaving the final totals unchanged.
City staff will follow up with the council on any large outstanding projects and continue to monitor reimbursement possibilities for storm cleanup expenses.
