Council approves Lincoln Street resurfacing contract and adopts resolution to buy new dump truck

Later in the meeting Commissioner Buckingham moved to adopt Resolution 2025‑22 to purchase a dump truck. Buckingham said the purchase would be split 50/50 between public property and the street department and that the city had inspected the vehicle and confirmed it was in acceptable condition. Council members voiced appreciation for city workers and recorded a roll call that adopted the resolution as presented.
In addition to the two formal procurement votes, staff listed several vendors in the accounts payable discussion (law office of Peter Faricudi; Performance Pipeline; Blue Cross Blue Shield; Facet IT services), which the council approved in a separate vote earlier in the meeting.
