The Village of Glendale Planning Commission will consider a zoning code amendment at its Dec. 1 meeting that would apply historic-district design guidelines to new construction, staff said during the commission’s November meeting.
Speaker 5 told commissioners the amendment has been advertised and that draft versions of the proposed code will be circulated to commissioners "in the next couple of days" for review ahead of the Dec. 1 hearing. The announcement indicates staff will bring a draft ordinance or code language for commission review and public hearing at that meeting.
The commission did not take action on the item in November; staff indicated they will present the draft at the Dec. 1 meeting and seek further direction or a recommendation then. Commissioners and staff will review the circulated drafts before the advertised hearing.
