Council moved into executive session Monday to discuss the employment of a public employee and to invite the village manager.
An unnamed council member made the motion and another unnamed member seconded it. The council took a roll call vote and the clerk read the results: Councilwoman Phyllis Baber, Councilwoman Nona Kahomumia, Councilman Durrance Daniels, Councilwoman Tanya Key, Councilwoman Laverne Mitchell, Vice Mayor Linda Childs Peter and Mayor Rue McKenzie Mumphrey were all recorded as voting in the affirmative; the motion carried 7-0.
Council recessed into executive session and later reconvened in open session at 7:27 a.m.
