Following an executive session to consider the employment of a public employee or official, the Mount Healthy board amended the agenda and voted to place the treasurer on unpaid leave effective Sept. 12. The motion passed by roll-call vote with the board recorded as voting Yes (Miss Bryant, Mister Kilgore, Mister Carter and Doctor Turner).
The board also revoted to change a previously accepted resignation for an employee identified in the meeting as "Baker Carrie" to a termination and approved that termination by roll call.
Separately, the board read a resolution and appointed Stephanie Anderson to the Great Oaks Career Campuses governing board for a three-year term beginning Jan. 1, 2026 and expiring Dec. 31, 2028. The resolution cited Ohio Revised Code 3311.19 in describing eligibility and appointment procedure.
What's next: The district indicated there may be a follow-up vote after executive session on related personnel matters; board minutes will reflect the formal actions taken on unpaid leave, termination and appointment.
