Princeton reports gains in AP passing rates and expanding CCP partnerships

At the Oct. 13 board meeting, the district's curriculum office presented year-to-year gains in Advanced Placement (AP) results, international baccalaureate (IB) candidates and College Credit Plus (CCP) partnerships.
Curriculum director Miss Stiles said AP passing rates rose in eight tested subjects and noted 100% pass rates in chemistry and physics AP exams for the most recent year. The district also reported four 2025 National Merit Commended Scholars and seven IB full-diploma candidates (three juniors and four seniors).
On CCP, the district noted increased enrollment since 2021, a partnership with Miami Regional Campus that may lead to an associate degree for at least one student this year, and credentialing support for teachers through a Hamilton County ESE grant. The presentation said the district had initially been allotted 6 teacher grant slots, expanded to 11 when other districts did not use their allotments, and concluded with eight teachers participating after scheduling withdrawals.
Board members praised staff and suggested turning the data into outreach materials to demonstrate the district's academic investment to the public.
