Crosby trustees agree to draft resolution supporting New Haven Express liquor license

Trustees agreed Oct. 13 to prepare and sign a resolution endorsing a request by New Haven Express Incorporation (the Shell station at New Haven and State Route 128) for a D-1 or D-5 on-premise liquor license.
Applicant Darpan told trustees he wanted to know whether the board would endorse the license application. Zoning inspector Rick said he inspected the premises before opening and found the required zoning conditions had been satisfied. "I went down and did an inspection right before they opened up and what was required they took care of," Rick said.
Trustees voted to draft a resolution that will indicate support for either D-1 or D-5 classification to cover both possibilities; the chair said the resolution number would be added and the document would be provided to the applicant. The applicant supplied a contact phone number and company name (New Haven Express Incorporation) for the resolution paperwork.
The board instructed township legal staff to prepare the formal resolution for signature and asked the applicant to provide any additional documents for the township lawyer if needed. Trustees recorded a roll-call vote in favor of drafting and signing the resolution.
