Parks and recreation items — including a proposed pickleball court, a path to the shelter and a new swing set — were budgeted at roughly $60,000 in site-improvement estimates, with an additional $20,000 set aside for machinery and equipment (a lawnmower). Trustees said those discretionary projects will be funded only after they reconcile audit adjustments and confirm available carryover funds.
Board members noted the Aristocrat estimate included curb, gutter and catch-basin repairs; they also asked staff to confirm whether the bid is a fixed price or subject to asphalt-price fluctuations before final appropriation.
