The Sharonville City Council opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance led by Bob Cox and proceeded to a series of ceremonial and administrative items. Mayor Hartman introduced and administered the oath to new officers Adam Lott and Braden Lovejoy, and invited family and guests to join for photos.
Mayor Hartman provided a brief revenue update: monthly revenue of $18,501.90 and a year-to-date total he stated at about $195,088, which he said was roughly $15,000 more than the same point last year. Councilmembers thanked staff and highlighted the Citizens Police Academy graduation.
Committee announcements included a Budget and Finance meeting scheduled for Oct. 28 at 5:30 p.m. and a reminder from Community Services to complete the Gower Park concept survey. Councilmember Knight honored public works employee Jason Beatty for placing first in a snowplow rodeo.
Before adjourning, councilmembers reminded residents of local events including Third Thursday Tunes and a family movie night on Oct. 25. A motion to adjourn carried and the meeting ended.
