A trustee offered to give her contact numbers and to post resources on the township website so residents know the next agency to contact.
Later in public comment, Shirley Huber of New Baltimore told trustees she and other residents had experienced a strong odor that "smelled like raw sewage" and that notices on doors recommended contacting the health department or the landfill contractor, Rumpke. Trustees said they had heard similar reports and planned to contact the board of health and follow up with residents.
Both issues were handled as public comments: trustees recorded the concerns, provided referral contacts, and agreed to pass addresses or phone numbers to relevant staff for follow-up; no enforcement action by the township was recorded in the meeting minutes for either item.
